Day 13 — A band or artist that has gotten you through some tough ass days.

Dear Pink,

I am a fan -  that is a given.

It isn't just that you are a beautiful woman that has an amazing set of lungs.

I love to hear your voice & the beat.

But more than that I love the words that you use.

You have given a voice where most try to sew lips closed.

You speak of things a lot people won't.

You say things that I want to say with an amazing fierce.

On those days I want to smile & dance -

I can count on your music.

On those days I want to be a bitch & tell everyone to fuck off -

I can count on your music.

When I need to say something loud & proud -

I can count on your music.

Before I was a fan I watched a program about your life ..

I was so impressed.

I thank you for putting your music out there like you do.
